Under the slogan: "All in the water, in safety!", many volunteers were present on Tuesday, August 5, in Arc-sur-Tille to lead a traveling village with the theme of drowning prevention. "This is the fourth and final stage, we went to the Panthier lake , to the Pont-et-Massène lake, to the Kir lake and then here," explains Noémie Roblin, advisor to the Côte-d'Or youth and sports service, and head of the prevention village.
In total, eight stands were set up to raise public awareness of the risks of drowning. "We are fortunate to have professional and volunteer firefighters from Dijon and Arc-sur-Tille who offer role-playing exercises, road safety officials who warn about the dangers of alcohol, especially before swimming, and the Alliance Dijon Arc Voile (Adav) club, which organizes a water comfort test and issues a water pass for children," explains Noémie Roblin.
